Registration for the Summer season will open shortly for Under the Lights youth flag football league. The SUMMER season runs from July through August, with games taking place at:

Under the Lights is the ORIGINAL exclusive youth flag football partner of Under Armour, Inc. The league is for both boys and girls of all skill levels and promotes a competitive, confidence building, non-contact football experience.
Our divisions are by grade (not age):
Pre-K thru 1st Grade (Co-ed)
2nd - 4th Grade (Co-ed)
5th - 8th Grade (Co-ed)
7th - 8th Grade (All boys)
Regular Registration closes on June 21st - Registration Fee $200

- NOTE If we reach capacity prior to the published registration close date we will close registration early.

REGISTRATION DETAILS
Pre K and Kindergarten
Includes an Under Armour jersey. No shorts.
Pre-K and K players will play games together.
This division is different then all others as it is focused on development. There are no playoffs for the Pre-K/K division.
ALL Boys Standard 7th-8th Grade
Includes an Under Armour jersey. No Shorts. Divisions are separated by grade with the anticipated division grade structure being 7th/8th.
Co-ed Standard Flag Football - Pre K-8th grade
Includes an Under Armour jersey and shorts. Divisions are separated by grade, with the anticipated division grade structure being K/1st, 2nd/4th, and 5th/8th.
GENERAL LEAGUE FORMAT:
- 6 game season plus playoffs or consolation games
- 6 v 6 format on 25 yd wide x 50 yd long fields.
- NO pass rush, just a sack count according to grade divisions. Emphasis on the pass game and run game strategy.
- K – 2nd Grade – 6 seconds
- 3rd - 6th Grade – 4 seconds
- 7th - 8th Grade – 3 seconds
- We will allow run tosses and lateral pass at the snap.
- Warm up practices are held a hour before the games (Coaches have the option to practice during other nights of the week to prepare their teams but these practices are not mandatory.
- NO Tryouts. NO Drafts. Rosters are formed by "friend" or "coach" request (child requesting a coach) these are requests and cannot be guaranteed. Single athletes will be placed on teams with some similarity and familiarity such as same school, neighborhood, organization, etc. as the other players on the team. Teams will be balanced (through the combine, we will ensure each team has a QB to start with).
- Games played in the evenings when possible.
- FUN FAMILY ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL!!!
REFUND POLICY:
We at Under the Lights Flag offer the following refunds within these specific timelines. All refund requests must be submitted by email to your League Commissioner.
- FULL or 100% registration fee refund if requested before uniforms are ordered for the league which occurs 4 weeks prior to kickoff.
- NO REFUNDS AFTER UNIFORMS ARE ORDERED
- In the event that the Under the Lights Flag season is canceled prior to the 4th game of the season due to an unforeseen event such as a COVID19 outbreak, then HALF or 50% registration fee refund will be processed. If the season is canceled after the 4th game of the season due to an unforeseen event such as a COVID19 outbreak, NO REFUND will be processed.
COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS:
- All coaches are volunteers and are not provided by Under the Lights Flag League.
- All Coaches and Volunteers must provide the Commissioner of your league with a current Coaches certification and background check. Each certificate is valid for 1 calendar year. If you need to update or obtain both please use the following links:
