Under the Lights is the UNRIVALED provider of competitive youth flag football. The league is for both boys and girls of all skill levels and promotes a competitive, confidence-building, non-contact football experience.

Instructional and developmental division geared for our Pre-K/K athletes to be  prepared for future play in our league. We will be progressing weekly on the fundamentals of catching, throwing, and flag pulling to eventually playing games with all athletes in this division. Our primary focus is to prepare these young athletes for competitive play. 

• Pre K - K Registration $150 closes on August 9th at 5 PM
• ALL GIRLS DIVISIONS Registration $165 closes on August 9th  at 5 PM
• COED EARLY BIRD Registration Pricing of $175 closes JUNE 22ND at 5 PM

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Pre K and Kindergarten
Includes an Under the Lights jersey. No shorts.

Pre-K and K players will play games together.

This division is different then all others as it is focused on development. There are no playoffs for the Pre-K/K division.

ALL Girls Standard 3rd-8th Grade

Includes an Under the Lights jersey. No Shorts. Divisions are separated by grade with the anticipated division grade structure being  3rd/5th and 6th/8th.

Co-ed Standard Flag Football - 1st-8th grade
Includes an Under the Lights jersey and shorts. Divisions are seperated by grade with the anticipated division grade structure being 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th.

GENERAL LEAGUE FORMAT:

• Player receives an Under the Lights game shirt and shorts
• Head Coach receives an Under The Lights youth football
• 6 game season plus playoffs or consolation games
• 6 v 6 format on 25-30 yd wide x 50 yd long fields
• NO pass rush, just a 3-6 second sack count. Emphasis on the pass game and run game limitations.
• 7-10 player rosters so everyone plays every game
• Practices are held an hour before the games - Additional practices may be scheduled by your coach but are not monitored or insured by Unrivaled Sports, Under the Lights or any league affiliates.
• NO Tryouts. NO Drafts. Rosters are formed by "friend" or "coach" request. Single players will be placed on teams with some similarities and familiarity such as same school, neighborhood, organization, etc. as the other players on the team.
• ALL coaches are volunteer parents and NOT provided by Under the Lights
• Awards are awarded to the Champions of the grade/age division
• Games played in the evenings
• Concessions and music at the games

REFUND POLICY:
All refund requests must be submitted to the League Commissioner prior to specific dates:

• FULL or 100% registration fee refund if requested before uniforms are ordered for the league which occurs 4 weeks prior to kickoff.
• HALF or 50% registration fee refund if requested after uniforms are ordered and prior to the 1st Monday after the 1st game of the season. 
• NO REFUND request submitted and processed after the 1st Monday after the 1st game of the season. 
• In the event that the Under the Lights Flag season is canceled prior to the 4th game of the season due to an unforeseen event such as a COVID19 outbreak, then HALF or 50% registration fee refund will be processed. If the season is canceled after the 4th game of the season due to an unforeseen event such as a COVID19 outbreak, NO REFUND will be processed.

COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS:

• All coaches are volunteers and are not provided by Under the Lights Flag League.
• All Coaches and Volunteers must provide the Commissioner of your league with a current Coaching certification and background check. Each certificate is valid for 1 calendar year. If you need to update or obtain both please use the following links:

Hailing from Fort Washington, Maryland, Coach Corbin developed a passion for football early on while playing for the Allentown Arrows Youth League. 

At Gonzaga College High School, he earned recognition as a three-star recruit and was ranked the top running back in Washington, D.C. He was a two-time first-team All-WCAC selection and helped secure a national title in rugby in 2014 and 2015. 

Coach Corbin continued his career at the University of Illinois, recording 1,085 rushing yards with 128 carries while leading the nation with an average of 8.5 yards per carries his junior season. He finished his college with 2,361 rushing yards—ranking 12th in school history—with an impressive 6.3 yards-per-carry average for his career. 

After graduating with a degree in communications and a master's in recreational sports and tourism, he played in the USFL for the Michigan Panthers, finishing First-Team All USFL. 

Now a Sales Executive at Petitbon Alarm Company, he enjoys working with colleagues who share his commitment to excellence and love for sports.  Reggie lives in Bowie, Maryland and actively coaches and mentors youth throughout Price Georges County and the DMV area.
